Angie’s Story
Angie had always wanted to have a ‘nice smile’ but unfortunately circumstances and finances slowed the process down. She had been saving money for almost 10 years whilst still having regular treatment and routine maintenance with us since 1992. Angie underwent complex Restorative Dentistry using Crowns, Veneers, a non-invasive adhesive Bridge and direct composite restorations along with Laser whitening and Laser gum recontouring, to finally get the smile she wanted.
I was quite nervous visiting the dentist after neglecting my teeth for a number of years. I was put at ease immediately by the friendly professional service I received. After several consultations and discussions of what was available to me a plan of action was put in place. I was provided with the plan of all the treatment I needed and a written quotation every step of the way, so no unexpected surprises or hidden additions. I had a number of appointments to clean my teeth and gums in preparation for dental work to be done. Next step was the teeth whitening, all important preparation towards the final finished result. The final dental work was done in two long sessions, made much easier by the TV screen above my head and a certain Billy Elliot film!
On a serious note the finished result was absolutely amazing and for the first time in many years I was not embarrassed to smile, and to find myself doing such a lot more. The result speaks for itself, however I have had many admiring comments from friends, family and even total strangers. I would strongly recommend anyone with concerns regarding the appearance or wellbeing of their teeth to attend a consultation, as I am sure once they attend they will be more than happy with the team and the service provided. Clinical Complaint
She was not happy with the overall appearance of her teeth as they were out of alignment and she was missing the upper left premolar, she was also concerned that she had a ‘gummy smile’ if she smiled wider. Her teeth were different shades and she had some stained restorations, there was a blue/black shadow where amalgam restorations were present. Ideally she wanted a nice natural appearance with a whiter and brighter smile.

Through the process of a diagnostic wax up and template, a goal and an aim was set up so we all knew what our target was. We worked together to achieve the finished smile at the patients convenience and pace. Throughout the process regular oral hygiene, maintenance and repairs were carried out as normal.
